This procedure is suitable for patients aged 18-55 with a body mass index above 27 who cannot lose weight despite dieting.

Who Should Not Have Gastric Balloon Procedure?

Gastric Balloon Procedure is not suitable for patients who have a severe stomach ulcer, have had part or all their stomach removed, patients with significant gastric hernia.
